Hydraulic Breaker Export Quote Checklist

Use One Complete Request Instead of a Long Email Chain

A hydraulic breaker export quote has three layers: technical fitment, commercial configuration and shipping basis. A price sent before those layers are clear is only a rough reference. Use this checklist to give the supplier enough information to identify the breaker, bracket, tool, spare parts, packing and freight basis.

1. Buyer and Delivery Information

  • Buyer company, country and contact person.
  • Required quantity and whether the order is for an end user, fleet or dealer stock.
  • Destination country, destination port and final delivery city if inland transport is requested.
  • Preferred trade term, such as EXW, FOB or CIF, to be confirmed in the quotation.
  • Target order date and requested delivery date.

Sea freight cannot be confirmed from the country name alone. Port, quantity, packing size and shipment method affect the freight basis.

2. Carrier and Hydraulic Data

Required field Example format Why it matters
Carrier brand and full model Manufacturer + complete model code Identifies the machine configuration and manual.
Operating weight Metric tonnes Creates the preliminary breaker range.
Auxiliary oil flow L/min Must match the breaker operating range.
Working pressure bar Required for hydraulic compatibility.
Relief pressure bar Shows whether the circuit setting needs review.
Coupler or bracket data Type, photos and dimensions Prevents a hydraulically suitable breaker from arriving with the wrong mount.
Machine and nameplate photos Clear front and close-up images Supports model and connection verification.

If flow or pressure is unknown, attach the auxiliary hydraulic page from the carrier manual. Mark the quote as pending until the missing value is confirmed.

3. Worksite and Breaker Configuration

  • Material: concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt, trench material, secondary rock or another confirmed material.
  • Application: demolition, road repair, trenching, quarry, foundation, pile breaking or another job.
  • Expected working pattern: intermittent work, regular daily work or dealer stock.
  • Preferred body: triangular, silent/box, tower/top or concentric/solid-body.
  • Required chisel shape and tool diameter, if already specified.
  • Site restrictions, including noise, access, dust or overhead clearance.
  • Worksite photos or a short video.

Do not choose the final breaker from body style or excavator tonnage alone. Read the breaker-to-excavator matching guide before approving the model.

4. Bracket, Hose and Connection Requirements

  • Direct pin mount or quick coupler.
  • Pin diameter, pin-center distance and inside width where required.
  • Hose length, diameter, fitting type and connection photos.
  • Whether hoses and fittings should be included in the shipment.
  • Whether the carrier has an existing breaker line and return line.

Dimensions should come from the carrier record, coupler drawing or measured machine. A single attachment photo is not enough for final bracket production.

5. Spare Parts and Support Files

  • Additional chisels and requested tool shapes.
  • Model-matched seal kit.
  • Hoses, fittings, through-bolts, shell bolts, bushings and retaining pins.
  • Dealer or fleet stocking requirement by breaker model.
  • Catalog, model sheet, maintenance guide or other agreed service files.

Ask for the breaker and parts as separate quotation lines. This makes the first-shipment cost easier to review and reduces the risk of ordering parts that do not match the selected breaker.

6. OEM, Nameplate and Packing

  • Paint color and an agreed color reference.
  • Logo file in a production-ready format.
  • Decal position and language.
  • Nameplate content and buyer approval requirement.
  • Outer packing labels and document language.
  • Plywood case, pallet or other packing request.
  • Any country-specific customs or packing requirement supplied by the buyer.

OEM scope, packing method and lead time must be written into the final quotation. Do not assume that a logo request automatically includes nameplate, carton, manual and spare-parts branding.

7. Commercial Items the Quote Must State

  • Breaker model, body type and tool diameter.
  • Included bracket, hoses, fittings, chisels and standard accessories.
  • Spare parts as separate line items.
  • Unit price, quantity, currency and trade term.
  • Tax basis where relevant.
  • Packing method, estimated packed quantity and confirmed shipping basis.
  • Production or preparation lead time after technical and payment confirmation.
  • Payment terms and quotation validity.
  • Warranty boundary and normal-wear exclusions.
  • Technical fields still waiting for confirmation.

Before You Approve the Proforma Invoice

  1. Check that the quoted carrier data matches the intended machine.
  2. Confirm the breaker model, body type and tool diameter.
  3. Confirm bracket or coupler dimensions and hose connections.
  4. Check every included accessory and spare-parts quantity.
  5. Review packing, destination port and trade term.
  6. Confirm unresolved technical fields in writing.
  7. Keep the approved specification, quote and packing list in the machine record.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can LICHI quote from an excavator model only?

A preliminary range may be possible, but final approval also needs oil flow, pressure and mounting information.

Why is destination port required?

Port, quantity and packing determine the shipment basis. A country name alone is not enough to verify sea freight.

Should spare parts be on the same quotation?

They can be included as separate lines in the same quotation. Review the model-matched spare parts directory before choosing the bundle.

Does a website price include freight and tax?

Do not assume so. The final quotation must state currency, tax basis, packing, trade term and whether freight is included.

What causes the longest quote delay?

Missing hydraulic values, unclear mounting dimensions, no destination port and an undefined OEM scope usually create repeated clarification.
